It is no secret that designers focus their fashion lines around the various trends roaming about each season. With men becoming more like women and women striving to be more like men, the world is evolving. Fashion is surely not to be left behind. The fall of 2011 is complete with masculine shirts, suits, hats and boots. Chanel, Moschino, Hermes, Viktor & Rolfe, Christian Dior and Christian Cota are just a few top brands to name.

While darker and more neutral colors have been the basis for previous fall/winter seasons, the 2011 season is comprised of bright hues such as neon-orange, purple sky blue and others. If not already adequately daring, these hues also come in many elaborate and patterned combinations. Structured dominatrix forms are also introduced.

Get ready for texture overload because this season is all about sequins, fur, leather, knitwear and even plastic. These combinations may sound, and possibly look, crazy, but it is wired down to the confidence aspect as mentioned in previous articles. Following these crazy combinations is the 40’s decade repeat with long flowed skirts and conservative blouses. Although miniskirts are thought to be worn with sex appeal, longer length skirts are equally sexy. The trick is not based upon the length of the skirt but how it is worn.

From tiny polka dots to large flowers, this season is full of prints. The key is for one to choose the best suited print. While masculinity is being displayed now more than ever, designers also feel the need to preserve femininity.  Ruffles and pleats are up next on the list of go-to fall fashions. These feminine touches come in every shape and/or form imaginable and often entail a look of romanticism. Now back to more of the aroused mannish figure in which comes the wide-legged trouser. There is little need to worry about the unflattering effects of this pant if styled right.

Two of the most important fashions essential for every fall are coats and layering. Every fall deserves a coat, and among these includes traits of youthfulness and luxuriousness. Layers not only keep one warm, but also serve as extra enhancements to the splendid outfits I know all of the world plans. One should make sure to keep a watchful eye on the trends listed above, and to also turn those trends into something of his/her own.
