It’s that time again where students nominate two teachers for the month of December. This month the student body chose Ms. Judy Williams and Mrs. Marion Boyd this month. We are so very lucky to have them at our school and also appreciate all the hard work they put into teaching us each day.

Ms. Boyd is from Fort Mill, SC and graduated from FMHS. He started teaching because when she was a student, she had great teachers who cared about her and positively impacted her life. She has one daughter named Grea Boyd who is a senior at Fort Mill High School. “I am very honored that I was nominated. I am very fortunate to work with outstanding teachers and students,” Mrs. Boyd stated. Here at FMHS she teaches Algebra II and Algebra III. She got both her bachelors and Masters degrees at Winthrop University. Her favorite thing about teaching is getting to interact with the students and letting them know that she wants them to be successful.

“Fort Mill High School is truly the best high school, filled with teachers and staff who genuinely care about the students. I have the best job; I get to teach and hang around high school students all day long and hopefully influence them to like math,” Ms. Boyd stated.
