Welcome to Fort Mill High School’s online newspaper. With the economy at a low, public school systems everywhere may seem to suffer. Parents, teachers, and students all over are looking for new ways to conserve their funds. So, in January 2009, the Loudspeaker staff made the conscious decision to make its newspaper only available online. We believed that doing so would bring us one step closer to the conservation of money and that of our planet, and we were right. Our school newspaper is posted only online and is 100% paperless. Now, there is no more wasted newsprint in the trash. Together, as a team, we put out a bi-weekly paper, posted online every other Friday. With a staff of highly talented high school students and one brilliant advisor, the Fort Mill high school Loudspeaker is leading the way into a better and more eco-friendly future.
